About

Over the years I traveled through Europe, the United States, and Canada enjoying the scenery, visiting old cities with their castles, museums and art exhibitions.

Living in Cleveland, Ohio for over thirty years I have taken the opportunity to participate in painting in oil and watercolor courses in the Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland Museum of Art and Bayarts in Bay Village Ohio.

All these experiences and my masters degree in biology from one of the oldest Universities in Europe, Jagiellonian University in Krakow Poland, contributed greatly to my love for art and my aesthetic sensitivity.

Through my paintings, I like to evoke the viewers emotion using the composition, colors and simple lines. My paintings do not have descriptive titles, I think that interpretation of the painting should be left to the viewer.

I paint still life, landscapes, flowers and whimsical paintings but portraits are my favorite theme. The faces seem to come to life while the process of painting is progressing. I am fascinated by the fact how little is required for achieving the change in facial expression. With one simple dot the expression can change from happy to melancholic.

My work has been shown in The Cleveland Clinic Art Show, BayArts Gallery and can be found in private collections in Poland, Israel, France, and the United States.

Welcome to my gallery.
